A {PANK!} Birthday

My niece is turning five this week, and *sniff* starting kindergarten in the fall. She is a pistol, but the girliest thing our family has ever produced. Her mom - one of my sisters - has always been would-look-great-in-a-potato-sack attractive, but not girly. Go figure.

Anyway, my favorite about-to-be-five year old, has loved all things pink since, oh, birth. Being Southern born and bred, it comes out, "pank". When she was really little, she would shout it at the top of her lungs when she saw something, well, pank.

I popped this little pocketbook
together using a SU template I found on MelStampz. She has a ton of templates for everything imaginable (The blog says she has 187 purse templates! I didn't count...) that you can download.
I'm going to have to put a dot of Velco under the flap so that it will stay closed.
It was easy-peasy and quick to make - even with the machine stitching.
The recipe:
Template
Bazzill CS
Prima flowers, Making Memories brads
ribbon from The Stash
DP is Cosmo Cricket, Girl Friday

Turns out it's Template Week over at Just Us GirlS challenge. Check out the way-cool work over there!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! May your day be pleasant and PANK!
